You might be curious, what actually is a lash lift? How does it work, and is it right for me? We're here to answer your questions!

What is a Lash Lift?

A lash lift is a customized to your lashes treatment to lift and separate the lashes at the base, giving your natural lashes a longer and appearance and curl that lasts 6-8 weeks. Yes, this is similar to a hair perm, but in a much more gentle and painless way.

What is the process of a lash lift?

#1 Your lashes will cleansed

#2 Your Esthetician will size your lashes for the rod size best suited for your lash length.

After your appointment you are always able to request at your next visit if you would prefer a more or less curled lift, we have options!

#3 Your Esthetician will glue the rod to your lash line. You may feel some movement and minor tugging of the skin, but overall a lash lift is painless and comfortable.

#4 Your lashes will be lifted, separated and glued onto the rod.

#5 Now there will be 2 solutions applied to the lashes for 5-7 minutes each. The time varies on the client and their lashes. These 2 solutions lift the lashes and then set the lashes.

#6 The solutions will be removed from the lashes and with warm water the glue will dissolve and the rod will be removed from your lash line.

#7 If you choose to have a tint (even with dark lashes we recommend it for the most wow factor!) the tint will be applied to your lower and upper lashes and left on for 5 minutes.

#8 Once the tint is removed, it's time to reveal your new lashes!

Can I get a lash lift if I have short lashes?

Yes! You might actually be surprised how great your natural lashes can look. Many of our clients are!

Will it damage my lashes?

No. Our lash lift artists are certified and skilled to maintain the integrity of the lashes and we use the highest quality lash lifting products available only to professionals. Without a certification or a practitioner that uses improper technique or timing, yes lashes could be damaged. That won't happen if you come to see us!

How long does a lash lift take?

Approximately 40 minutes.

Does a lash lift hurt?

No, the procedure is totally painless. Your eyes will be closed for the entire treatment and although it may feel a little strange being unable to open your eyes for this time, it offers you a chance to relax during the treatment

Is it safe?

Yes. The procedure is performed with the utmost care and precise technique. The product never touches the skin during the process. Lashes are lifted on our specially shaped lifting silicone pads before products are applied. Because the solution is only applied to the base of the lashes a reaction is incredibly rare. Redness around the eye may occur due to the product removal process (wiping the eyes with cotton rounds) but should disappear within a few minutes after the procedure. If you are concerned you may have a reaction you can ask for a patch test prior to making an appointment.

How long will a lash lift last?

A Lash Lift can last 6-8 weeks but can vary from person to person. There is no need for any maintenance appointments in between but you will need to have the process repeated every 8 weeks to lift the new hair growth. There are some situations that may cause the lift to drop/weaken prematurely such as swimming, use of harsh products or heat. If you find that your lift does not last the full 2 months, you can repeat the treatment after a minimum of 7 weeks after having the initial treatment.

Before treatment

Please come in without eye makeup. If you wear contacts, they will need to be removed for the treatment.

Can I wear makeup after my lash lift?

Yes, but you will need to leave your eyes/lashes untouched for at least 24 hours after your treatment. (Post care below.) You may find that there is no need for mascara, but if you wish to make your lashes even fuller, a non-waterproof mascara is advised as the removal of waterproof mascaras can be harsh on the lashes and weaken the lift.
